Felicity is favored by all human beings with their different and ever conflicting attitudes. Human being do not evade felicity; rather the move fast in any direction wherein they feel they may find it. Different ideologies present different notions of felicity; but what is true felicity and what is it's role in human life? Does politics have any duty in obtaining this invaluable jewel? Perhaps a more accurate answer to this question would be possible if we present a clearer definition of felicity.

The question for this article is trying to provide an answer is about the nature of the relation between politics and felicity in Imam Khomeini's view. It claims that Imam Khomeini, in view of the link between politics and piety, sees politic as the cause of achieving felicity, and felicity as the effect of politics.
The discussion presented in this article includes the definitions of the two notions of politics and felicity, and an explanation of the relation of these two notions in Imam Khomeini's view.
